While every mother knows breast is best, they don’t always know about some of the obstacles they can come across while nursing. Below, I will list some of the most common issues and link to in depth information on each issue discussed.

Milk Supply issues: It is common for a mother to have an over supply of milk. What is less common is an undersupply, even though many women feel they have this issue. Another issue, which is common in conjunction with over/under supply, is hindmilk/foremilk imbalance. Click through to see information about over supply, under supply, and milk imbalance.

Sometimes, the issue can be with baby. Tongue-tied babies can present issues all on their own for breastfeeding, many times causing the mom to feel frustrated like she is not doing anything correct.
