vTech Go! Go! Smart Wheels Train Station

Thing 1, Thing 2, and the Smart Wheels Train Station

For my youngest son’s first birthday, his ‘big gift’ was the vTech Go! Go! Smart Wheels Train Station. That was on April 30th. And let me tell you what, that thing has had a LOT of use since then (between the 1 year old, 5 year old and 2 year old niece)

Its really easy to set up. It puts together just like a puzzle, and the directions are like little kid easy. HOLLA.
Its also super sturdy. You see that blonde little bundle of cute? He climbs ALL over it. So does his 2 year old cousin who is twice his size. She loves it. The both have those cars and train and everything EVERYWHERE on that toy, and I don’t feel like its going to break on them.

It talks. Kinda loud, but what toy isn’t loud these days. There are special squares that make it talk randomly throughout the track, and its super cute. Oh and the train station itself speaks in like 4 different languages. Mega nice.

Now, I will say, it eats through batteries like CRAZY. The train died within like 2 weeks. But, once we changed the batteries to a kind we had purchased, it seems to be lasting longer. So, it could have just been the batteries that came with it that were bad. Who knows. Anyway, the train itself is the only that moves on it by itself. So, we had purchased a car that works with it, but the kid has to physically MOVE the car. And my one year old gets pretty mad about that. The train moving by itself though, that is solid gold in his eyes.

Anyway, over all its a pretty sweet looking toy. I’m happy with the purchase and there is a pretty good chance that we will be getting some more sets of the vTech Go! Go! stuff for both boys to play with in the future.

Below, you can find a link to the train set on Amazon!

Do you have a little one on the way? I’d love for you to take a look at this child birth hypnosis  kit! It’s my #1 recommendation as a doula to be for those looking to have a relaxing and rewarding home birth experience!
